YESTech Announces New SPC Software

YESPC Software Provides Real-Time Monitoring and Reporting of SMT Production Processes.

San Clemente, CA –January 24 , 2006 YESTech, a leading supplier of automated inspection and yield enhancement systems for the electronics industry, today announced its new YESPC Software providing real-time process monitoring. The YESPC Software will be introduced in Booth 2178 at the APEX Printed Circuits Expo in Anaheim, Calif. from February 8-10 2006.

The new YESPC software is an enhancement to the already powerful capabilities of YESTech's AOI technology. By continuously monitoring inspection results, operators, engineers, and management can immediately react to critical process events. In a networked environment, the user defined charts and alarms can be accessed remotely via Web browsers. In addition to these visual alerts, the software can also be configured to provide email alerts.

YESPC software enables senior management to make informed decisions by providing diagnostic and trending analysis of the manufacturing process, saving time and money.

Key software features include a comprehensive package of SPC charts, including X-bar range, X- moving range, histogram, Pareto analysis, scatter plot, Cp, CpK and many other reports that provide real-time alarms for out-of-tolerance conditions. YESPC is fully compatible with every YESTech AOI and YTX-5000 combined x-ray/vision system.

“Throughout the APEX Expo, YESTech will be demonstrating the new YESPC software features and functionality by monitoring inspection results from our YTV and YTX automated inspection systems,” said Josh Petras, YESTech's International Sales Manager. “These features provide the real-time feedback that factory managers need to control SMT process quality.”
