YESTech Introduces Next Generation F1 Series AOI Inspection
Latest YTV F1 offers advanced upgrades to one of the industry’s most popular AOI inspection solutions
San Clemente, CA, July 9, 2008 – YESTech Inc., a leading supplier of automated inspection and yield enhancement systems for the electronics industry, announced the introduction of the next generation YTV F1 Series AOI inspection system. The F1 series delivers the most complete inspection solution to date, providing advanced automated inspection of solder and lead defects, component presence and position, correct part, polarity and through-hole parts.
The upgraded F1 Series AOI is ideally suited for high-volume or high mix manufacturing environments and helps to increase throughput, improve quality and reduced costs. It is equally effective for pre/post-reflow applications. The system’s four advanced oblique viewing cameras offer critical inspection capabilities for R-nets and other difficult to inspect parts. YESTech’s newly improved Fusion Lighting™, with multi-color solder joint inspection, delivers 20% higher detection capabilities when compared to previous models. Fusion Lighting and advanced image processing technology integrates several techniques, including color, normalized correlation and rule-base algorithms, to provide complete inspection coverage with an extremely low false failure rate. The F1 Series AOI offers off-line programming and utilizes a standard package library to simplify training and ensure program portability across manufacturing lines. Real-time SPC monitoring is a standard option.
