YESTech , Inc. Names Giancarlo De La Garza to New
Latin America Sales Manager Position
San Clemente, CA –March 1 , 2006 YESTech, an innovative provider of yield enhancement solutions, today announced that Giancarlo De La Garza has been named Latin America Sales Manager for the Company. In this new role, Giancarlo is responsible for the Latin American region sales growth, with day-to-day operations of YESTech's sales representatives based in Mexico, Central and South America, and other special regions including Spain.
Reporting to YESTech's Vice President of Sales Troy Johnson, De La Garza assumed his new role on October 5, 2005. Assigned to special accounts and territories where his unique skills and experience are instrumental for success, De La Garza oversees Company relationships with employees and Sales Representatives in the Latin and South American territories. Supporting the sales process from the YESTech headquarters in Southern California, He currently manages four sales representatives, each located in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Spain respectively.
De La Garza began his employment with YESTech in July 2004 as a Sales Applications Engineer. In this role he helped create and manage the regional technical sales operations specifically for AOI and X-ray products in western U.S. and Latin America.
During 2002-2003, De La Garza served the World Wide Sales and Service organization as a Sales/Applications Engineer for Photon Dynamics in Aliso Viejo, Calif. where he managed their focusing on selling techniques to increase peripheral products sales in Latin America. From 2001-2002, he was a Senior Field Applications Engineer for Photon Dynamics in Austin, TX, where he focused on technical sales support and customer training for AOI and X-Ray systems in the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) industry, as well as pre- and post-sale customer service. From Year 2000-2001, De La Garza was an Applications Engineer for Intelligent Reasoning Systems in Austin, TX.
In 1999, La Garza received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Engineering Economics, Operation Research in Engineering) from Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, La.; he was also distinguished on the Deans List in 1999. From August 1994-1997, he attended Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, Mexico where he earned an Electro-Mechanical Engineering degree. Additionally, in 1999, De La Garza received his FE / EIT Certification from the National Society of Professional Engineers General Engineering Examination.
Born in Mexico City, De La Garza moved to the US in 1997; his hobbies are traveling the world, computers and mountain biking.
