YESTech to Showcase 3-D X-Ray, New F1 Series AOI and Conformal Coating Inspection Solutions at IPC Midwest 2008
San Clemente, CA, September 18, 2008 – YESTech Inc., a leading supplier of automated optical and x-ray inspection systems for the electronics industry, will showcase its new X3, 3-D X-Ray inspection, F1 AOI and B-UV automated conformal coating inspection systems - at this years IPC Midwest, held on September 24-25, Booth 900 at Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.
YESTech’s complete line of AOI and X-Ray inspection systems offer manufacturers the latest technologies and cost-effective inspection solutions. The innovative new X-Series Automated X-Ray Inspection System (AXI) provides electronics manufacturers advanced 3-D inspection capability for fast and complete inspection of PCBs with BGAs and other hidden solder joints. The X3's unique ability to selectively use 2-D or 3-D technology to inspect specific regions of interest on a board provides a critical advantage of balancing double sided inspection and throughput. In addition, the X3's proprietary imaging technology rapidly gathers multiple oblique images of the sample to construct a 3 dimensional rendering used in identifying solder and component related defects on both single and double-sided boards. When integrated with YESTech AOI inspection, these systems can increase fault coverage to include nearly all process defects.
The F1-Series AOI system provides for advanced inspection of solder and lead defects, component presence and position, correct part, polarity and through-hole parts. The F1-Series is ideally suited for high-volume or high mix manufacturing environments and helps to increase throughput, improve quality and reduce costs. It is equally effective for pre/post-reflow applications. The system’s four advanced oblique viewing cameras offer critical inspection capabilities for R-nets and other difficult to inspect parts. YESTech’s newly improved Fusion Lighting™, with multi-color solder joint inspection, delivers 20% higher detection capabilities when compared to previous models. The F1 Series AOI offers off-line programming and utilizes a standard package library to simplify training and ensure program portability across manufacturing lines. Real-time SPC monitoring is a standard option.
The YESTech B-UV makes inspection of conformal coatings simple and convenient by automating the inspection process for quality, consistency and thickness of coatings under UV lighting, with the use of proprietary inspection algorithms. The B-UVs advanced inspection algorithms provide fast and completely automated inspection for coverage, selected areas of non-coverage, de-lamination, cracks and bubbles.
“We are very pleased to be showcasing our newest inspection solutions at this years IPC Midwest show,” said YESTech president Don Miller. “This show presents an ideal opportunity to meet with our valued clients in the mid-west and introduce our latest inspection solutions.“
